Electrician (Social Housing) + Company Van

Our clients are a growing Property Management business supporting Social Housing tenants across North and East London and have an immediate requirement to hire a Social Housing Electrician to carry out vital electrical maintenance services responding to all tenants' needs across their portfolio.

• Work as part of the maintenance team to respond to all basic maintenance and repair issues in buildings as highlighted by the property management department.
• Ensure that works are performed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Basic electrics: changing light fittings, replacing plugs, fuses, replacing light bulbs.
• Undergo appropriate training as provided and in conjunction with the Property Maintenance Manager.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Property Maintenance Team Leader or other designated senior staff.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
• Operate in accordance with health & safety and quality procedures.
• Accurately record work details via internal and client systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain a positive can‑do attitude.
• Provide copies of all relevant certificates for current training.
• Hold a City and Guilds certificate in electrics.
• Demonstrate experience as a maintenance electrician in social housing.
• Have experience with PDA.

Salary from £45,000 per year to £50,000 depending on experience & qualifications.

• Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm + overtime
• Call‑out rota – currently 1 in 10, Monday to Sunday £250 per week & £30 per call

London / Home counties – must be able to commute/relocate.

• Electrical: minimum 5 years required.
• Licence/Certification: ECS mandatory.
• Clean driving licence.
• City & Guilds 2330/2391/294/2395 (preferred).
• J.I.B./GOLD CARD (not mandatory).
• 18th edition (preferred).
• NVQ 3 (preferred).

this is a permanent PAYE role – do not apply if you are self‑employed and looking for extra contracts.
