Electrical Technician

Electrical Technician - Substation Excellent rate Monk Fryston, Leeds MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit 8 Electrical Technicians urgently to work on a substation project for 4-6 weeks in Leeds As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. Diagnose electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting to minimise equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Conduct routine preventative maintenance and complete accurate maintenance records and reports. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to support operational requirements.

To be considered for this role you should have:
Time-served Electrical Technician (Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 minimum) Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, control circuits and the ability to read schematics and technical drawings

Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and repair of electrical equipment Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with a commitment to safe working practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Salary & Benefits Competitive hourly rate – CIS/LTD 10 hour days, Monday – Friday 4-6 Weeks Contract Length
