We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Carpentry Technician to join a well-established Further Education College in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpentry professional to support the delivery of high‑quality vocational education, helping students develop the practical skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the construction industry.

• Support lecturers with the preparation and delivery of practical Carpentry and Joinery sessions across Levels 1-3.
• Maintain workshops, tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
• Assist students during practical activities, providing technical guidance and demonstrating best practice where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, carrying out regular checks and maintaining workshop records.

• A recognised qualification in Carpentry & Joinery or a related construction trade.
• Recent industry experience within Carpentry, Joinery, or a related construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of workshop practices, tools, machinery, and health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and supportive approach.

• Salary of £30,000 per annum.
