Bird Proofing Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded pest control company that is looking for a motivated and reliable Proofing Technician to join their specialist bird team, operating across London and the Southeast. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role where no two days are the same — you’ll be working at some of London’s most interesting buildings, carrying out bird proofing and cleaning work to a high professional standard.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team of five full-time technicians, with the added option to develop abseiling skills alongside two specialist colleagues already working ther you’re an experienced pest control professional or someone with a background in working at height and a desire to build a long‑term trade career, this could be the perfect next step.

• Installing bird-proofing systems (netting, spikes, wire, post and wire, and more) across a variety of commercial and residential sites
• Carrying out bird dropping clean‑ups and associated hygiene work
• Working safely at height using access equipment, including MEWPs, ladders, and potentially rope access
• Collaborating with a small, experienced team to deliver quality results on every job
• Representing the business professionally with clients across London and the Southeast

• £35,000 base salary
• Production bonuses — earn up to an additional £3,600 per year based on performance
• Lead commission scheme — get rewarded for identifying new business opportunities on‑site
• Annual inflation‑linked pay reviews (subject to business performance)
• Discretionary Christmas bonus

• 28 days annual leave to start
• +1 extra day per year of service, rising to a maximum of 25 days

• Afull UK driving licence
