• £43,000 - £50,000 starting salary (DOE)

You’ll service, maintain, and install a variety of commercial catering equipment across commercial kitchens and bakeries, ensuring our clients' operations remain smooth, efficient, and compliant.

• Proven experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills on commercial catering equipment
• Extensive experience servicing and repairing equipment from leading manufacturers, including Unox, Rational, Merrychef, Lincat, Hatco, Maidaid, Instanta, Menumaster, Fri Fri, and Classeq
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent) desirable; proven industry experience will also be considered
• Full UK driving licence

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, warranty work, and reactive repairs
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults
• Install and commission new equipment
• Maintain van stock efficiently
• Keep accurate service records using PDA/tablet systems
• Attend training sessions and team meetings
• Support colleagues and contribute positively to the wider team

• Strong technical skills in electrical and plumbing systems
• Proven fault-finding ability using wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Experience working on a broad range of commercial catering equipment
• Competence using electronic devices, digital platforms, and software to record jobs, order parts, and communicate with the team
• Willingness to travel across London and surrounding areas
• Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, plus overtime opportunities
• On-call rota: £160 standby allowance (1 week in
  5)
• Overtime rates:
  Monday-Saturday: 1.5x
  Sundays & Bank Holidays: 2x
