Location: Greater London
ROLE: Multi-Trade Operative
LOCATION: North west London, NW8
PAY RATE: £20.73 - £22.34 PAYE (£40,000 - £43,000 per annum DOE)
CONTRACT: Contract 3 Months with potential for a permanent opportunity
HOURS: 37 Hours per Week
We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to carry out a range of planned and reactive maintenance works across residential properties. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of trade tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a temporary role with the potential to secure a permanent position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Carry out first and second fix carpentry works.
- Complete first and second fix plumbing repairs and installations.
- Undertake plastering, painting, and decorating works.
- Carry out minor masonry repairs, floor laying, tiling, fencing, and general groundworks.
- Complete on-site risk assessments and identify potential hazards before commencing work.
- Deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance in line with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service when working within occupied properties.
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative.
- Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting & decorating, and general building maintenance.
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Full UK manual driving licence (company vehicle provided).
- DBS check (existing DBS preferred or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and risk assessments.
- Experience working within social housing or residential maintenance environments.
- Multi-skilled trade background.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
