Field Service Engineer (Industrial Cleaning Equipment)
Location: Bromley, London (applications welcome from commutable areas)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 basic (OTE £50,000+)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (days only) + door-to-door travel paid + overtime at 1.5x
Interaction Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding and innovative organisation within the industrial cleaning equipment sector. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with an electromechanical background, offering excellent opportunities for training, development, and career progression.
The Package- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (33 days total)
- Door-to-door travel paid

- Company vehicle, fuel card, and laptop

- Ongoing internal and external training (technical and certifications)
- Clear progression routes into senior and management roles
- Attend breakdowns, carry out servicing, and complete installations on industrial cleaning equipment
- Cover a local patch (typically within a 1-hour radius)
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and electronic fault-finding and repairs
- Work on engines (petrol, diesel, LPG) and associated systems
- Use a variety of tools, including hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and hot work equipment
- Manage your own workload to ensure high standards and timely completion
- Complete service documentation and order parts as required
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Experience in electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, service, and repair
- Strong engineering background (e.g. plant engineer, maintenance engineer, mechanical fitter, hydraulic/pneumatic engineer)
- Experience with engines and diagnostic tools is highly desirable
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical tools
- Engineering qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds) – advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
