HGV Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy, professional, and friendly workshop team based in Ilford. This role would suit a skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on HGV vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently Complete vehicle inspections and identify potential issues Use diagnostic equipment and specialist tools effectively Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, and brakes Order parts and materials as required Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised Requirements Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, or PSV Technician Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good knowledge of HGV systems and vehicle maintenance Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Time served technicians will also be considered What’s On Offer £30.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) £40.00 per hour (Saturdays) £45.00 per hour (Bank Holidays) Weekly pay PAYE Monday to Friday 07.00am start Long-term Friendly and supportive environment If you are an experienced HGV Technician looking for a secure long-term role with excellent rates of pay, apply today.
