We're looking for an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of building services systems while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Role Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and emergency breakdown repairs across electrical, mechanical, and fabric services.
  • Ensure all service desk tasks and maintenance activities are completed within agreed SLA and contractual timescales.
  • Maintain statutory and non-statutory compliance records, including emergency lighting, fan coil units, water testing regimes, and associated logbooks.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure all work is completed safely, in accordance with company policies, permit-to-work systems, and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Procure materials and equipment, support energy reduction initiatives, and assist across the wider property portfolio when required.
Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, testing, fault‑finding, and repair of building services equipment, including boiler plant, ventilation systems, pumps, generators, switch gear, cables, batteries, lighting, and small power installations.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, safe working practices, and permit‑to‑work procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Proactive approach to identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults, with the ability to complete documentation accurately and on time.
