Location: Greater London
AV Multi-Room & Home Automation Engineer - London
Basic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum. Full-Time, Permanent.

We are a fast-growing, highly respected AV integration company specialising in high‑end residential and commercial projects across London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, forward‑thinking business delivering premium solutions in Audio Visual, Home Cinema, Multi‑Room AV, and Home Automation systems for prestigious developments and luxury properties.
Role and Responsibilities- Carry out the installation, configuration, and commissioning of AV (Audio Visual) and Home Automation systems.
- Install and set up equipment such as TVs, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and smart home devices.
- Build and wire AV racks to a high professional standard, including labelling and cable management.
- Work with and programme Control4, Legrand Arteor & Vantage (experience essential).
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and installation plans.
- Perform fault‑finding and diagnostics to resolve technical issues on site.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and end clients.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and is delivered on time.
- Adhere to site health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Travel to various sites across London (in and around the M25).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the AV & Home Automation industry.
- Proven hands‑on experience with Control4 systems (essential).
- Strong understanding of multi‑room AV, home cinema, and smart home technologies.
- Proficient in terminating Cat5/6 cables and AV system integration.
- Skilled in AV rack building, cabling, and system labelling.
- Confident in fault‑finding and resolving technical issues independently.
- Good understanding of construction site practices and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in client‑facing situations.
- Full UK driving licence (required).
- Valid ECS card (required).
- Additional certifications (e.g. IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, First Aid) desirable.
- Clean DBS/CRB check or willingness to undergo one.
