Carpenter Multi Trader

Our client, a leading social housing contractor, is looking for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trader to join their team working on a long-term contract across the Croydon area. This role will involve carrying out a variety of reactive maintenance and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties, with carpentry as the primary trade alongside general multi-skilled maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance, including doors, frames, locks, skirting, kitchens and other first and second fix works.
• Complete general multi-trade repairs including basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating where required.
• Deliver high-quality repairs in occupied and void social housing properties.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Accurately complete job sheets and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• NVQ qualification or apprenticeship in Carpentry/Building Maintenance or Multi-Trade Repair and Refurbishment.
• Previous experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence
