Role Description The Builder role at LAZLINA SERVICES LIMITED is a full-time, on‑site position based in Greater London. The Builder will carry out day‑to‑day construction activities, including preparing and maintaining work areas, measuring and cutting materials, and constructing, repairing, or installing structures in line with project specifications. Responsibilities include working with other trades, following site plans and instructions, using tools and equipment safely, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
The role also involves reporting progress, identifying any issues or hazards, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time. Builders are expected to maintain a clean and organized site and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in general building, construction, or related trades, with the ability to interpret basic plans and instructions.
- Proficiency in using common construction tools and equipment, and applying safe working practices on‑site.
- Strong attention to detail and quality, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to follow directions and work with diverse colleagues and contractors.
- Good physical stamina and the capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors as required.
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards relevant to construction environments.
- Prior building or construction experience in the UK is preferred; relevant vocational training or certifications (e.g., CSCS card) are an advantage.
