CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider at a prestigious commercial office building in Fenchurch Street, London
. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a static, single-person site
, taking full responsibility for the landlord services across the building.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven background in commercial building maintenance. Working independently, you will carry out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and building services systems. - 08:00 am - 17:00 pm
- Overtime available at weekends
- 1 in 2 Call-Out Rota
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems.
- Fault finding and maintenance on lighting, small installations, power distribution, control panels, ballast changes, and emergency lighting.
- Completing emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
- Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, chillers, and associated HVAC plant.
- Monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) and UPS systems.
- Carrying out water temperature monitoring and basic plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets, and seals.
- Completing general building fabric maintenance where required.
- Escorting and supervising specialist subcontractors.
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and ensuring statutory compliance across the site.
- Delivering a high level of customer service while managing the building independently.

- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience within commercial building maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and building services knowledge
- Able to work independently and manage a single-person site
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
