HVAC Engineer - Field Based
Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 per annum + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a well-established and rapidly growing mechanical and renewable engineering specialist delivering high-end residential and premium commercial projects across London and the South East.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and wants to work on bespoke installations rather than repetitive commercial maintenance. You'll be joining a highly skilled team working on architect-designed homes, luxury renovations, premium new-build developments, and complex mechanical installations where quality is valued above all else.
Responsibilities:- Installing split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, MVHR and ventilation systems
- Working on high-end residential developments, luxury refurbishments and selected commercial projects
- Assisting with installation planning and maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Identifying additional works and recommending practical improvements where appropriate
- Advising on installation methods, materials and equipment
- Ensuring all installations comply with manufacturer specifications and current industry regulations
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on every project
- Providing a professional service and communicating effectively with customers on site
- Category 1 F-Gas 2079 Certification (Essential)
- Proven experience installing a variety of AC and HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of split, multi-split and VRV/VRF installations
- Excellent pipework, brazing and pressure testing skills
- Broad building services or HVAC installation experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Experience working on commercial projects
- Electrical qualifications
- Previous experience working on luxury residential or architect-led developments
- Competitive salary of £45,000 - £52,000
