Venn Group are recruiting for an experienced
* Carpentry Site Manager
* to oversee ongoing works on a commercial project in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manager with a strong carpentry background who is comfortable leading site teams, driving programme delivery, and maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity, and health & safety.
Responsibilities

* Managing and coordinating teams of carpenters, site joiners, and subcontractors

* Supervising day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

* Monitoring productivity and quality across all carpentry and joinery packages

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures

* Liaising with clients, project managers, and other trades on site

* Conducting site inspections and quality checks

* Managing labour levels, materials, and site resources

* Attending site meetings and providing progress updates

* Resolving site issues and ensuring programme targets are achieved
Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects

* Strong carpentry/joinery trade background

* Previous experience managing teams of carpenters and site joiners

* Excellent knowledge of commercial fit-out and carpentry packages

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple work fronts and deadlines

* SMSTS

* CSCS Card (Black)

* First Aid at Work (preferred)
