4 on, 4 off | Night Shift | 6:00pm - 6:00am

We're recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Dagenham, maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles. • £55,903 basic salary (£25.59 per hour)

• Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electronic faults
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
• Perform welding, fabrication and metalwork when required
• Order parts and assist with stores management
• Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records
• Support Apprentice Technicians and work collaboratively within the workshop
• Maintain workshop equipment to a high standard

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Diagnostic qualifications desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
