Mobile Commercial Refrigeration Engineer - London

London, M25 & Home Counties

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Basic + Overtime + Bonus Scheme

The Company

Our client is a well-established specialist engineering company with over 15 years of successful operation within the commercial refrigeration and HVAC sector. They are a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality service to commercial customers across London and the M25.

The company currently employs a close-knit team and carries out work for a variety of clients including hotels, restaurants, golf courses, and other commercial premises.

Their core services cover refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, catering equipment, and gas systems.

The Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to join their team, covering London, the M25, and surrounding Home Counties.

This is primarily a refrigeration-focused role, although candidates with strong air conditioning experience will be viewed favourably. The successful candidate will carry out service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair work on a wide range of commercial refrigeration equipment.

The business is looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team and is willing to support colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the company.

Walk-in freezers
Walk-in chillers and cold rooms
Commercial refrigerators
Bottle coolers
Wine chillers
Ice machines
Compressors and refrigeration systems

Key Responsibilities

Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work.
Fault finding and repair of commercial refrigeration systems.
Compressor replacements and major component repairs.
Diagnosing and resolving refrigeration system issues.
Providing excellent customer service across a varied client portfolio.
Assisting with other areas of the business when required.
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
Valid F-Gas qualification.
Full UK driving licence.
Air conditioning experience would be advantageous.
Flexible and team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to support a growing business and contribute beyond the day-to-day role.
Package & Benefits

£45,000 - £50,000 basic salary.
42.5-hour working week.

1 in 4/5 call-out rota - £150 standby payment for call-out coverage.
