We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership group in Battersea, who is seeking a highly skilled Master Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to join a well-established team committed to technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • - Up to £46,000 basic salary, dependent on manufacturer qualifications

  • - 40‑hour working week, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis

Duties of the Master Technician:

  • - Conduct vehicle health checks using advanced diagnostic equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • - Perform routine servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
  • - Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
  • - Complete all repair and service documentation promptly and correctly
  • - Road test vehicles to ensure faults are resolved and repairs adhere to quality standards
  • - Assist with warranty work and additional repairs as required
  • - Support the team in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and workshop productivity

Requirements of the Master Technician:

  • - NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • - Proven experience as a Master Technician or similar role within a busy workshop environment
  • - Valid UK driving licence
  • - Accreditation as a Master Technician or equivalent is desirable
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • - Experience with diagnostic tools, MOTs, and hybrid/electric vehicle repairs is advantageous but not essential
