An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Car Mechanic??????? / Diagnostic Technician to join independent vehicle repair garage providing servicing, MOT testing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs delivering reliable vehicle maintenance with transparent advice.

As a Senior Car Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician, you will carry out vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, and mechanical repairs while supporting the smooth operation of a busy workshop.

This role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a range of petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Completing repairs including brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, clutches, timing belts, and timing chains.
• Carrying out head gasket replacements and other major mechanical repairs.
• Completing MOT-related repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Identifying additional repair requirements and communicating findings to the service team.
• Maintaining accurate records for completed work.
• Supporting other technicians when required and helping maintain a professional workshop environment.
