Job Title: Maintenance Operative
Location: East London
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm
Friday 7.30am - 2pm
+ 1 Sunday per month
38 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 per annum

A well-established facilities maintenance provider is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to work on a Care homecontract based in East London.

This reputable organisation has a strong track record of internal progression and staff retention and is now looking to add an experienced Maintenance Operative to their team.

• General fabric maintenance
• Painting, decorating and plastering
• Carpentry works (skirting, doors, furniture assembly, locks & handles)
• Replacing doors and ironmongery
• Basic plumbing works and tap temperature readings
• Minor mechanical and electrical tasks
• Emergency lighting checks
• Replacing lamps and small electrical components
• Changing filters on AC units
• Assisting / shadowing M&E engineers on larger works
• Supporting basic water treatment duties where required
