Mobile Fabric Technician (M25 Portfolio)
Position: Mobile Fabric Technician
Location: Based within the M25
Travel: Train & Tube Network (Zones 1-6 Fully Covered)
Salary: £38,000 basic salary
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) + Overtime opportunities
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Mobile Fabric Technician to join our engineering team. You will maintain a premium portfolio of commercial properties across London.
Unlike traditional mobile roles, this position does not require driving. You will travel sustainably via the London Underground and National Rail network

Key Responsibilities
- Carpentry & Joinery: Repair doors, frames, locks, handles, cabinetry, and window fittings.
- Basic Electrical: Safely replace light bulbs, ballasts, fuses, and conduct basic fault finding.
- General Fabric Maintenance: Execute basic plumbing, painting, tiling, and flooring repairs.
- Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Conduct routine compliance checks, including fire door inspections and water hygiene logging.
- Reactive Works: Respond quickly to tenant requests and emergency fabric failures to ensure building safety.
- Health & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to RAMS, COSHH, and site safety regulations while working in occupied corporate environments.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a commercial building services or facilities management environment.
- Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a professional, client-facing demeanor.
- Mobility: Comfortable navigating the London transport network independently with portable toolkits.
- £38,000 basic salary + paid door-to-door transit.
- Fully funded, uncapped London Travelcard covering all necessary rail and tube zones.
