Hours40 Hrs plus overtime as required
OVERVIEW MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up and test sound, lighting and video equipment, and program control systems.
- Carry out pre-event safety checks, troubleshoot and resolve problems with existing systems.
- Pack up equipment at a venue ready for storage or transportation.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain AV equipment to ensure it is in optimal condition.
- Work closely with other technical crew members, freelance staff and event organizers.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols during equipment setup and operation.
Required:
- Demonstrable working knowledge and experience in the operation of audio mixers, lighting control desks and AV equipment to include but not limited to:
Allen & Heath, d&b, Avolites, Chauvet, ROBE, & Panasonic projectors. - Good literacy, numeracy and technical skills.
- An understanding or awareness of relevant Health & Safety requirements is desirable.
- An understanding of the installation of firmware updates on equipment.
- Knowledge & understanding of at least two areas of Sound, Lighting and Data Projection.
- You will be naturally resourceful demonstrating the ability to identify issues and Proactively resolve problems.
- Will have a keen eye for detail.
- Good time management skills in order to adapt to continually changing demands anD priorities
- A demonstrable understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service (both internal and external) placing the customer at the heart of what we do at Eclipse
- Ability to work well under pressure, able to prioritise most time sensitive tasks.
