Position: AV Live Event Technician Eclipse Full-Time Contract

40 Hrs plus overtime as required

OVERVIEW MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and test sound, lighting and video equipment, and program control systems.
  • Carry out pre-event safety checks, troubleshoot and resolve problems with existing systems.
  • Pack up equipment at a venue ready for storage or transportation.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain AV equipment to ensure it is in optimal condition.
  • Work closely with other technical crew members, freelance staff and event organizers.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols during equipment setup and operation.
Experience

Required:
  • Demonstrable working knowledge and experience in the operation of audio mixers, lighting control desks and AV equipment to include but not limited to:
    Allen & Heath, d&b, Avolites, Chauvet, ROBE, & Panasonic projectors.
  • Good literacy, numeracy and technical skills.
  • An understanding or awareness of relevant Health & Safety requirements is desirable.
  • An understanding of the installation of firmware updates on equipment.
  • Knowledge & understanding of at least two areas of Sound, Lighting and Data Projection.
  • You will be naturally resourceful demonstrating the ability to identify issues and Proactively resolve problems.
  • Will have a keen eye for detail.
  • Good time management skills in order to adapt to continually changing demands anD priorities
  • A demonstrable understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service (both internal and external) placing the customer at the heart of what we do at Eclipse
  • Ability to work well under pressure, able to prioritise most time sensitive tasks.
