Electrical Maintenance Engineer FM Service Provider Commercial Building Soho, London Up to £49,000 CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider at a commercial building in Soho, London. The successful candidate will work in a single-person static role, taking responsibility for the day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance of the landlord services across the building.

This is a great opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer who is comfortable working independently and has a solid background within commercial building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a salary of up to £49,000, overtime opportunities, ongoing training and genuine career progression. Duties & Responsibilities Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and fabric services. Electrical fault finding and repairs across lighting and power systems. Carrying out small electrical installations, lamp and ballast changes. Maintaining control panels and power distribution systems. Completing emergency lighting and fire alarm testing. Carrying out basic maintenance on AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning.

Resetting chillers and monitoring associated plant. Carrying out basic maintenance on pumps and motors. Completing water temperature checks and basic water hygiene duties. Carrying out minor plumbing repairs including blocked toilets, taps and seals. Monitoring BMS systems and responding to alarms or issues. Monitoring UPS systems and taking routine readings. Completing general building fabric maintenance where required. Escorting and supervising specialist subcontractors.

Maintaining accurate PPM, reactive and compliance records. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures. Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience. Good general knowledge of mechanical and building services. Comfortable working independently as the sole engineer on site. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Reliable, hardworking and able to manage workload effectively. Must be able to provide copies of relevant trade certificates.
