Are you an experienced Commercial Plumbing Engineer looking for a varied mobile role with a growing Building Services business?
We're seeking a Building Services Engineer with a strong plumbing background to join our team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and providing high-quality maintenance services within a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Attend reactive maintenance and breakdown calls.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to plumbing and associated plant equipment.
- Maintain hot and cold-water systems.
- Service and repair pumps, valves, pipework, expansion vessels and drainage systems.
- Undertake minor installation and refurbishment works.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
- NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
- Proven experience within commercial building services maintenance.
- Strong plumbing fault-finding and repair skills.
- Experience working on hot and cold-water systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Qualification.
- Water Hygiene Awareness.
- Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services.
- Experience using CAFM systems.
- Multi-skilled building services experience.
- Salary Negotiable DOE
