Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
Location:
Central London (Multiple Campus Sites Available)
Shift Pattern:
Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Perform scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial mechanical plant and building services infrastructure.
Service and repair key equipment, including:
Heating plant, boilers, pumps, and pipework systems
Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and ventilation plant
Calorifiers, pressurisation units, valves, and domestic water services
Diagnose system faults, perform root-cause analysis, and execute safe repairs.
Oversee site water hygiene tasks (e.g., temperature monitoring, flushing, L8 compliance).
Work alongside sub-contractors, managing permits to work and ensuring strict site safety compliance.
What We Are Looking ForNVQ in any mechanical discipline (plumbing,mechanical, air con)
Experience:
Proven track record in commercial mechanical building services maintenance (higher education, NHS, or corporate estate background preferred).
Compliance:
Strong understanding of water hygiene (L8), pressure systems, and safe
