As a Technical Surveyor, you will play a key role in assessing existing lift installations, conducting detailed site surveys, and providing technical recommendations to support our modernisation and upgrade projects.
What You'll Be Doing Carrying out detailed technical surveys of existing lift equipment to assess condition, configuration, and performance.
Identifying opportunities for lift modernisation and recommending suitable upgrade solutions.
Producing accurate survey reports and technical documentation to support project proposals and delivery.
Working closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a trusted technical expert throughout the survey process.
Supporting escalator surveys where required (experience beneficial but not essential).What We're Looking For Strong lift industry experience with a solid technical understanding of lift systems and components.
Previous experience within lift modernisation, repairs, installation, or technical surveying.
Ability to assess equipment condition and determine practical modernisation solutions.
Excellent attention to detail and strong reporting skills.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Escalator experience is advantageous but not essential.
Flexible approach to working hours and locations.Location & Travel The role will predominantly cover Central London, although flexibility to support other areas may be required.
Due to the nature of the role, a company vehicle is not required.
A travel allowance will be provided to support travel across the region.Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 15:0038-hour working week Flexibility is required, as some customers may request surveys to be carried out outside of normal working hours, including occasional evening or night-time visits.
