We are currently recruiting for a Residential Maintenance Engineer to work on one of our high-end, prestigious client sites in London Mayfair. The site in itself is a mixed commercial and retail and residential building and one of newest in the local area.

The main aim of this is to support the Supervisor and the team on maintaining the mechanical and electrical equipment and ensure we deliver our SLA and KPI as outlined and agreed. You will be an integral part of the established team on this site. The successful candidate will be required required to work Monday to Friday, 8-5pm.

Mechanical Engineer Requirements with Level 3 Qualifications-For a mechanical engineer role in building maintenance, here are the typical requirements when a Level 3 qualification in plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems is specified:

Technical Skills and Knowledge-Mechanical engineers with Level 3 maintenance qualifications should demonstrate competence in:

HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair

Plumbing systems including heating, water supply, and drainage

Mechanical plant equipment operation and maintenance

Pumps, motors, and control systems

Energy management and building automation systems

Preventive maintenance planning and execution

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Asset Management:

Track equipment inventory, locations, and specifications

Monitor asset lifecycle and depreciation

Maintain equipment history and documentation

Maintenance Management:

Schedule preventive maintenance tasks

Log and track reactive maintenance requests

Assign work orders to technicians

Track maintenance costs and labour hours Working on a similar Corrigo CAFM Computer-Aided Facilities Management platform that we use onsite. Core

Qualification:

A Level 3 qualification typically refers to an advanced technical certificate or diploma, equivalent to A-levels in the UK system. This would include:

Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering Level 3 NVQ/SVQ in Facilities Management or Building Maintenance Level 3 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering

Overtime x1.5 on weekday and x2 on weekends + day in lieu on bank holidays

Standby rate is 15 per day and 50 on bank holidays
