Electrician | Southwark

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a busy property maintenance team delivering electrical repairs, installations, testing and compliance works across residential properties throughout East and South East London. (Greenwich, Southwark, Lewisham, Croydon, Bromley & Bexley)

Working as part of a long-term housing maintenance contract, you will play a key role in ensuring homes remain safe, compliant and well maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, excellent customer service and working to the highest safety standards.

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance within domestic properties
• Conduct routine servicing, fault finding and testing of electrical systems
• Complete electrical inspections and ensure compliance with current regulations
• Replace sockets, switches, fittings and associated electrical components
• Identify and report defective or non-compliant installations
• Complete job documentation accurately using mobile technology
• Undertake site‑specific risk assessments and follow all Health & Safety procedures
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service while working in occupied homes
  
  Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current industry regulations

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• AM2 Qualification
• 2391 Inspection & Testing Qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong understanding of electrical compliance and safety standards
• Experience carrying out domestic electrical repairs and maintenance
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• DBS check (to be completed as part of the onboarding process)

• Salary up to £43,325 depending on experience
