Vehicle Technician / Semi-Skilled Technician Southend-on-Sea, Essex £50,000– £55,000 OTE Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 1:00pm A major automotive group is expanding its Southend operation and is looking for Vehicle Technicians and Semi-Skilled Technicians (Level 3 qualified) to join a growing manufacturer-backed workshop. This is not a repetitive fast-fit role. You’ll be working within a modern franchised environment carrying out servicing, diagnostics, warranty repairs, maintenance and fault finding on a busy and expanding passenger car operation.

What you’ll be doing Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding using manufacturer equipment Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer procedures Perform mechanical, electrical and general workshop repairs Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard Work closely with the workshop and service teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes What we’re looking for NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Semi-Skilled Technician Good understanding of diagnostics and modern vehicle systems
