- Southwest London- £30,000- £35,000 Basic Salary + Commission + Overtime
 
* Basic salary from £30,000-£35,000 + Bonus (flexible for the right candidate)

Fire Extinguisher Engineer

Role Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire safety company covering Southwest London.
This is predominantly a fire extinguisher servicing role, with the opportunity to carry out basic testing and servicing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems where required. You'll work across a varied commercial customer base, delivering a high standard of service while building strong client relationships.

Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role & Responsibilities
 
* Service, maintain and inspect portable fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards.
 
* Carry out basic testing and servicing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems where required.
 
* Complete all relevant service documentation accurately and efficiently.
 
* Identify defects and recommend remedial works where appropriate.
 
* Provide excellent customer service whilst representing the company on client sites.
 
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
 
* Travel to commercial customer sites across South West London, with occasional travel across Greater London.
 
* Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
Fire Extinguisher Engineer Skills & Experience Required
 
* Previous experience servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers.
 
* Experience testing or servicing emergency lighting and/or fire alarm systems would be advantageous.
 
* Good knowledge of current fire safety standards and industry best practices.
 
* Full UK Driving Licence
 
* Able to successfully complete a DBS check
 
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
 
* Reliable, organised and able to work independently
 
* BAFE
