Job description:

Electrician - EV Installation

Salary: £42,000pa

Working hours:

8:00am-5:00pm

Schedule:

Planned 4-6 weeks in advance

Company van and mobile phone provided

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our clients growing team, specialising in EV charger installations.

This is a well-organised role with approximately 2 installations per day, giving you a clear and manageable workload. Your planner will be provided 4-6 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your working schedule ahead of time.

The Role

As an Electrician - EV Installation, your main responsibilities will include:

Installing EV charging points at commercial properties
Carrying out electrical installation, testing and commissioning
Completing approximately 2 EV installations per day
Working between 8:00am and 5:00pm
Travelling to customer properties using a company van
Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely and to a high standard
Diagnosing and resolving installation issues where required
Completing installation paperwork, certification and job records
Providing professional and friendly customer service
Working independently while following company procedures and technical standards

About You

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced Electrician who takes pride in their work and is confident working independently.

You should be:

A qualified electrician with relevant electrical qualifications including 18th edition
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Comfortable working at customer properties
Professional and customer-focused
Able to work independently and manage your daily workload
Committed to safe working practices and high-quality workmanship
Hold a full UK driving licence
