. We are currently looking for an experienced mechanic / mechanical remover and fitter to join our team due to an increase in workload. This position is for an experienced worker only. We are not looking for learners or trainees. You should be confident working independently and have good practical knowledge of mechanical repairs and removal/refitting work.

The work will mainly involve mechanical removal and fitting on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles. You should be comfortable carrying out jobs such as:

• Engine removals and replacements.
• Gearbox removals and replacements.
• Small servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Removing and refitting mechanical components.
• Diagnosing straightforward mechanical issues as part of the repair.
• Working efficiently and safely on different vehicles.
• Switching between different types of jobs as required.

No bodywork experience is required. This is a mechanical position. We are not specifically looking for a diagnostic specialist or MOT tester. We are looking for someone with strong hands‑on mechanical and removal/fitting experience.

• Experienced mechanic with good practical knowledge.
• Confident working on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to move between different jobs when required.
• Takes pride in doing clean, careful work.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Good attention to detail.
• Learners/trainees are not required for this position. A driving licence is not essential for the role.

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm. Saturday: 8:30am – 2:00pm. Sunday:
Closed.

£500–£700 per week, depending on experience, practical knowledge and ability. The exact wage is negotiable for the right person based on what you can do and the level of work you are capable of carrying out. Tools are supplied. This is a full‑time position. Start date is negotiable.
