* ** Rota: 7 nights on, 3 off, followed by 7 nights on, 4 off

** Join Arriva London’s engineering team and play a key role in keeping our bus fleet safe, reliable and ready for the road. You’ll carry out hands-on maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, tackling varied technical challenges alongside fellow engineers.

What you’ll be doing
* Carrying out servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs across our bus fleet.
* Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and your technical knowledge.
* Completing vehicle inspections and safety checks to meet company standards and relevant requirements.
* Investigating recurring faults and helping reduce vehicle downtime.
* Working with the engineering and operations teams to ensure buses are ready for service.
* Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance and parts used.
* Sharing your expertise with colleagues and supporting less experienced team members.
* Maintaining a safe, organised working environment.# What we’re looking for
* A relevant engineering or vehicle maintenance qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
* Hands-on experience as a Bus Mechanic, PSV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician.
* Strong diagnostic skills and a practical approach to solving problems.
* Confidence using workshop equipment and diagnostic tools.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to quality workmanship, vehicle safety and reliable service.  You don’t need a university degree—your practical skills and relevant experience are what matter.# # Why join us?
