Plumbing Engineer
Avon Ruby is a family-run Building company specialising in refurbishments, renovations, and Reactive emergency works. We are looking for someone with the right skill set to join our small team to work with in our Building Project and Emergency Reactive divisions.
Main Responsibilities- Repair leaks on radiators, wastes, toilets, washbasins etc.
- Removing and rehanging radiators for Decoration teams
- Attending clients to rectify Emergency Plumbing leaks
- Submitting detailed Job sheets via our App to report on faults from the Jobs you have been deployed to
- Researching and identifying parts/materials required to rectify an emergency and documenting these findings on the Job sheet
- Correspondence:
Liaising with the Office team to ensure effective communication
- Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously in a demanding environment
- Time management skills with the ability to focus, organise and prioritise workload
- Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work confidently in high-end properties
- Ability to work with initiative
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 with post qualification experience
- Minimum of 6 Years experience
- Hold a full UK manual driving Licence and be confident driving and working in and around London
- Competent with all Plumbing diagnostics, Servicing, Installation, Maintenance and repairs
- Ability to install Sinks, WCs, Showers, Thermostatic shower mixers, Bath taps etc
- Can speak English
- Good written English
- Strong Customer service skills (Customer facing skills)
- Qualified installer of Vented and Unvented Cylinders
- Experience and ability to install Domestic Pumps/circulators and Macerators (Ie: Grundfoss Domestic pumps/ Saniflow Macerators)
- Experience with Power flushing Central heating systems
- Ability to work on Reactive Plumbing issues (Domestic)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage own workload
- A punctual timekeeper
- Willingness to undertake work and serve our clients in a great manner
- Advanced Plumbing qualifications
- Company vehicle
- Ipad/Iphone to use for obtaining/submitting information on jobs

Job Type:Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
Up to £40,000 (Dependent on experience) with the opportunity to earn £££ for callouts/emergencies
Location:
Greenford- (15 mile radius)
