1st Fix Carpenters Needed

- Start Monday 12th October
We are currently recruiting 2-3 experienced 1st Fix Carpenters for a construction project in Emerson Park, London, starting Monday, 12th October 2026.
We are looking for reliable and skilled carpenters with a strong background in first fix carpentry, particularly roof construction and Posi-Joist installation.
The RoleThe work will primarily involve installing Posi-Joists and carrying out structural first fix carpentry works as part of a roof installation project.
Candidates must be confident reading and interpreting technical construction drawings, working accurately to specifications and completing all tasks to a high standard.
Previous experience in roof construction is essential.
Requirements- Minimum 3-4 years' experience as a 1st Fix Carpenter
- Proven experience in roof construction and structural timber work
- Experience installing Posi-Joists or similar structural joist systems
- Ability to read and understand technical construction drawings - essential
- Previous experience on UK construction sites
- Valid CSCS card - essential
- Relevant references - essential
- Own tools and full PPE
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
- Available to start Monday, 12th October
- Immediate start on Monday, 12th October
