Gas Service Engineer – Domestic Boilers

Are you an experienced Gas Service Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Elite Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable Domestic Gas Service Engineer to join their team, servicing and maintaining domestic gas boilers the West Midlands areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer who takes pride in their work, enjoys dealing with customers and is looking for a long-term permanent position.

The Role You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and safety checks on domestic gas boilers, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out routine servicing of domestic gas boilers. Undertaking preventative maintenance and identifying potential faults. Diagnosing boiler issues and carrying out repairs where required. Completing gas safety inspections and relevant documentation. Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations. Providing excellent customer service whilst working in customers' homes. Managing your daily workload and travelling between appointments across Sutton Coldfield and the West Midlands.

Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records. What We're Looking For Current Gas Safe registration and relevant domestic gas qualifications. Proven experience servicing and maintaining domestic gas boilers. Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Sound knowledge of domestic heating systems and gas safety regulations. Full UK driving licence. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily appointments.

A reliable, professional and hardworking approach. Must be based within a reasonable daily commuting distance of Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding West Midlands area. Salary & Benefits Salary circa £35000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Permanent, full-time opportunity. Established client with ongoing servicing and maintenance work.
