Commercial Refrigeration Engineer
Location:
London & South East (M25 Corridor)
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 basic (Depending on experience) + Door-to-Door Travel + OTE £60k+
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
About the Role:
Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer tired of spending your entire life driving across the country? A leading, well-established regional HVAC & Refrigeration specialist is looking for a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to cover service, maintenance, and fault-finding across London and the Home Counties.
This is a stable, permanent role within an owner-managed business that values work-life balance, offering localized patches to keep your travel time down.

* Competitive Basic Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 (reviewed based on experience)

Standby rota of 1-in-4 or 1-in-5 with a generous standby allowance

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns on commercial refrigeration systems.
* Work on a variety of systems including pack systems, cold rooms, cellar cooling, display cabinets, and commercial chillers.
* Troubleshoot electrical controls, temperature monitoring systems, and microprocessor boards.
* Provide exceptional customer service to commercial clients, including retail, hospitality, and corporate estates.
What We Are Looking For :
* City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 (Essential)
* Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration service and maintenance.
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills and understanding of control systems logic.
* Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 penalty points.
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to participate in the standby rota.
