HVAC Engineer Hampshire/West Sussex/London Up to £45,000 Permanent
Workshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering business looking to expand its team. You’ll install, maintain, repair and commission HVAC systems across commercial, industrial and infrastructure environments.
Job Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Install, service and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and extraction equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Test and commission HVAC equipment and ventilation systems.
- Interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications.
- Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records.
- Follow relevant regulations, procedures and health and safety standards.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site representatives and colleagues.
- At least three years’ experience in the HVAC industry.
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Knowledge of air conditioning, heating, ventilation and extraction systems.
- Valid F‑Gas certification.
- Full UK driving licence; a clean licence is not essential.
- Relevant HVAC qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent experience.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Company van, PPE, specialist equipment, mobile phone and workwear.
- 22 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, with your birthday off.
- Paid overtime at time and a half.
