Title: Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer
Contract: ASAP - 31 December 2026
Hours: 40 hours per week (7:00am - 4:00pm)
IR35: Inside IR35
Role SummaryThis is a static site-based engineering role responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems. We are looking for candidates from a commercial building services/FM background who are confident working independently, have strong customer-facing skills, and can demonstrate excellent electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Fault finding, repair and maintenance of lighting, power, distribution and control systems.
- Electrical inspection, testing and certification in line with BS7671.
- Supporting wider building maintenance activities within a multi-skilled environment.
- Updating CAFM systems and maintenance records.
- Managing subcontractors on site.
- Participating in the out-of-hours callout rota.
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
- AM2.
- 18th Edition (BS 7671).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a commercial FM/building services environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC and wider building services.
- Experience using BMS and CAFM/CMMS systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
- F-Gas / AC experience.
- Fire alarm and emergency lighting knowledge.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x weekdays and 2x weekends.
- Bank holidays paid at 2x.
- Standby allowance of £15 per day (£50 on bank holidays).
