HGV Mobile Technician
Salary:
Negotiable | 40 Hours Per Week | Brand-New Company Van Provided We are looking for an experienced and motivated HGV Mobile Technician to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician or Mechanic looking for a varied role combining workshop-based maintenance with mobile breakdown support across multiple depots and customer sites.
We have recently purchased a brand-new company van and are ready for the right person to join the team
- Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying - out repairs and maintenance on HGVs and trailers. Conduct
- ing Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).Preparing vehicles/trailers for MOT testing.
- Perform
- ng vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding.
Completi - ng general servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
Attending mobile breakdo - wns, including evening callouts.
Providin - g on-call breakdown cover.
Working - across multiple depots, workshops and customer yards.
Ensuring - all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- nce as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Mobile Technician.
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills.
Experience working on HGVs and trailers. Ability - to work independently and manage a varied workload.
A flexib - le approach to evening breakdowns and on-call duties.
A professional, reliable - and proactive attitude.
A Class - 1 HGV licence would be advantageous
- Negotiable salary, depending on experience and qualifications. 40-hour basic working week
- basic working week.
Brand-new company van provided for the role, including travel to and from work. - Overtime paid at time and a half.
- An additional retainer for being on call.
- A minimum payment for each call-out, plus payment for the work carried out.
