Position: Sr. Accounting Technician AR

Location: 50 Storrs St. Concord, NH

Salary: $17.81/hour

To monitor the establishment and maintenance of payment sources for the New Hampshire Liquor Commission including investigating issues and implementing solutions while following all NHLC rules and policies.

• Prepare, collect, analyze, upload, and review financial reports and NH Treasury bank reports regarding accounts receivable to General Ledger; research and resolve variances.
• Prepare and reconcile revenue funds ensuring funds are posted to the correct revenue source.
• Investigate licensee finance and payment related questions; develop and implement solutions; educate customers on the cash/credit management program.
• Review and resolve store inquiries regarding daily store financials and customer payments.
• Maintain the office petty cash and revolving fund; prepare and disburse checks; account for general ledger entries; prepare paperwork for petty cash replenishment; reconcile monthly bank statement for the revolving fund account.
• Provide guidance and cross‑functional support to NHLC Accounts Receivable staff.
• Develop and maintain procedural documents for own position per guidelines and procedures.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks such as research, analysis, and reconciliation; assist in preparing ad‑hoc reports.
• Treat all customers with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.

• Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after high school in accounting.
