Associate Teacher

At our center, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and connected. As an Associate Teacher, you will play an important role in helping create a classroom environment where curiosity is encouraged, relationships are strengthened, and every child feels at home.

As an Associate Teacher, you will:

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Help maintain a warm, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children
• Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, diapering/potties, and transitions
• Model respectful and supportive behavior in all interactions
• Communicate openly and professionally with families and team members
• Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations

• Must meet NH DHHS requirements for Associate Teachers found here
• Familiarity with NH childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood education
• Prior experience in a teaching role in a licensed childcare facility preferred but not required
• Successful completion of background check
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., lift infants into and out of a crib, assume low level postures to connect with children at eye level, engage in physical activities with children, and see/hear well enough to keep children safe
