Lead Teacher

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Teacher, you will:

• Create a warm, engaging classroom where every child feels seen, heard, and supported
• Implement thoughtful, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that spark curiosity and joy
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment
• Build trusting relationships with families through open, respectful communication
• Mentor and support fellow teachers, modeling positivity and professionalism
• Contribute to a center culture rooted in teamwork, respect, and community

You are someone who:

• Has experience in early childhood education (lead teacher experience preferred)
• Leads with patience, kindness, and confidence
• Is organized and dependable while remaining flexible and creative
• Enjoys collaborating and being part of a supportive team
• Is deeply committed to the safety, well-being, and growth of every child

• Familiarity with NH childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood education
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required
• Prior experience in a teaching role in a licensed childcare facility preferred but not required
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred but not required
• Successful completion of background check
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., lift infants into and out of a crib, assume low level postures to connect with children at eye level, engage in physical activities with children, and see/hear well enough to keep children safe
