Description
GM2 is seeking a motivated and experienced civil engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 4-10 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in New Hampshire, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, while strictly adhering to quality control procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in New Hampshire, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, while strictly adhering to quality control procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or support roadway and infrastructure design projects with minimal oversight.
- Ensure adherence to internal QA/QC procedures and project standards.
- Develop designs and plans using Bentley Micro Station/Open Roads and AutoCAD.
- Perform drainage design and 3D modeling for roadway projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and agencies, including NHDOT.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project documentation.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and schedule management.
- Experience:
4-10 years of relevant experience in civil or transportation engineering. Previous experience with New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) design projects (highly desirable). - Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency with Bentley Micro Station/Open Roads, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite. - Design & Compliance:
Strong technical background in roadway design, including drainage and 3D modeling (desirable) and commitment to QA/QC standards. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills. - Leadership:
Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior team members. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required). - Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) license (required;
New Hampshire PE preferred.
