  • Design and develop mechanical equipment, assemblies, components, and automated systems using CAD tools.
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
  • Integrate motors, pumps, valves, sensors, instrumentation, VFDs, and other industrial components.
  • Develop equipment sequences, controls, alarms, interlocks, and system logic.
  • Read and develop mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical/control schematics.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience designing mechanical equipment using CAD software such as Solid Works.
  • Experience programming or troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with industrial motors, sensors, valves, instrumentation, and related components.
Preferred
  • 3–7+ years of experience designing, developing, or supporting automated equipment.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct, or similar.
  • Experience with VFDs, analog instrumentation, digital I/O, communications, and industrial networking.
  • Experience with automated machinery, process equipment, industrial systems, or other complex engineered equipment.
  • Experience taking equipment from concept through design, fabrication, programming, testing, and commissioning.
  • Experience working for an OEM, machine builder, engineering firm, or systems integrator.
