- The Inventory Management professional will support production operations by ensuring accurate material handling, traceability, and timely fulfillment of inventory requirements.
- This role is responsible for maintaining high inventory accuracy, supporting shop floor control processes, and ensuring materials are delivered and replenished within defined service levels.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments and strong attention to detail.
- Four years of prior relevant experience with a High School Diploma, or two years of post-secondary education with zero to two years of related experience.
- Experience picking materials and supporting production environments.
- Experience using ERP systems and shop floor control systems.
- Experience using counting scales and inventory tracking tools.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Complete material transfers and roll-ups to support production within 24 hours.
- Scan serialized parts in shop floor control systems to maintain traceability from receipt to shipment.
- Maintain 98 percent accuracy on cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Process all approved scrap tickets promptly to ensure accurate MRP records.
- Prioritize hot list items to the production floor while ensuring all other materials are put away within 48 hours.
- Clean materials within one shift and move them to the production line the same day.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience picking and handling inventory materials.
- Experience with ERP and shop floor control systems.
- Experience using counting scales.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Ability to prioritize urgent materials effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with four years of related experience required.
- Two years of post-secondary or Associate degree with zero to two years of related experience acceptable.
- ESD training preferred.
