Position: Nutrient Manufacturing Associate (Day Shift)

Shift / Schedule

1st Shift 7am-5:30pm Monday thru Friday.

Essentials
  • Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Identifies and checks materials to be used in the production.
  • Verifies that the correct materials and the correct lots are being pulled.
  • Weighs all material needed, checking all materials and weights. Completes paperwork.
  • Operates equipment to move materials.
  • Loads mixer and blends material for required amount of time.
  • Empties mixture into proper container.
  • Weighs completed formulas to accurate measures.
  • Operates drying equipment as per established procedures.
  • Operates forklift (mount & dismount) & operates electric power jack.
  • Advances paperwork to its proper place.
  • Must be able to identify all material used.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs of raw material.
  • Must be able to push cones of raw materials over 330 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand long periods of time.
  • Consistently promotes and maintains a harmonious/productive team effort.
  • Contributes to the department team effort by helping the team achieve the results needed.
  • Requires medium to heavy work, including continuous physical exertion such as frequent bending, lifting or climbing up ladders and stairs.
  • Reports to work on a daily basis to meet customer and production goals, as well as, comply with company attendance policy.
Secondary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Assists in other departments as needed and works closely with all other departments.
Minimum Education al Requirements
  • HS Diploma/GED or work equivalent experience.

$40,000.00 - $66,000.00 is the salary range for this position.
