Job Title
Pay Range: $16.00hr - $21.00hr
Requirement/Must Have- Experience in a clean room environment.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents.
- Ability to determine and follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Experience making setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Ability to work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives.
- Basic math skills to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
- Ability to perform operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4+ years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2+ years of prior related experience.
- Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Work from work instructions and use hand and/or power tools.
- Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Assemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements.
- Continuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conduct any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly.
- Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction, and authorization and conduct quality inspection at specified intervals.
- Perform accurate data and record keeping.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
- Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional teamwork.
- Perform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
- Complete basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteria.
- Participate in meetings and working groups to solve problems, communicate issues, and obtain approvals.
- Follow and comply with all cleanroom guidelines including no perfume or lotions, no shorts/skirts/capris without hosiery, and wearing full PPE including hair net, face mask, safety goggles, smock, and gloves.
