Mechanical Assembler — Heavy Equipment​/Grinder Systems

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for hands-on assembly of Ragnar Tech’s 9400/9700 Series grinders and related heavy equipment. This role focuses on structural, mechanical, and powertrain assembly, ensuring machines meet engineering specifications, safety standards, and production quality requirements.

• Assemble major mechanical components including frames, conveyors, rotor housings, feed systems, and guarding
• Install diesel engines, radiators, coolers, and powertrain components
• Align rotating assemblies, set bearing preload, and verify torque specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions
• Support functional testing of mechanical systems prior to final quality control
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve build issues and support continuous improvement
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

• 3–5 years of experience assembling heavy equipment, including forestry, recycling, construction, or mobile machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment
