Title: Fertilizer Technician
Job Type:
Full-Time/Seasonal 7-5, Saturdays as needed
Location: Londonderry, Milford, NH
Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 hourly, commensurate with experience
Reports to: Routing Manager
Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fertilizer Technician responsible for applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other soil treatments to lawns, gardens, and landscapes to promote healthy growth. This role involves handling chemicals safely, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper application techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain sprayers, spreaders, and other application equipment
- Analyze soil conditions to recommend appropriate treatment
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and hazardous materials
- Keep detailed records or applications, including dates, amounts and areas treated
- Communicate with clients or supervisors about treatment plans and schedules
- Inspect landscapes and fields for signs of nutrient deficiencies, pests, or disease
- Assist in ordering, storing, and managing fertilizer and pesticide inventory
- Comply with environmental regulations and best practices to minimize waste and contamination
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in landscaping, agriculture, and/or turf management
- Applied knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and application techniques
- Active NH Licenses including F1, F2, F3, and Right of Way
- Valid NH drivers license
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety guidelines
- Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer
- Physical stamina to work outdoor in various weather conditions, and lift 50+ pounds
